The Arbeitskreis Schokoladentechnik (AK Schoko) has now been in existence for more than 25 years. Founded by Prof. em. Erich J. Windhab, the twice-yearly AK Schoko is the platform for the exchange between science and industry in Switzerland.

1st Meeting Innovation Group Cocoa & Chocolate

The 50th meeting of the AK Schoko was also the kick-off in a new era. Erich Windhab, who entered into «ETH-Emeritus» state by August 1, 2021 & following ETH connection by «Mandate-Contract» until end of 2022 announced that the future hosting of the AK-Schoko will be carried out by Swiss Food Research. We are proud to take over this important exchange platform in the domain of Cocoa & Chocolate.

This innovation group explores the various central questions in the field of cocoa and chocolate and helps the industry to develop technologically.

Target group

Topics for research projects are presented to the participants from the fields of business and research in meetings and jointly developed.

Steering group
