Joint Meeting Innovation Groups Coffee and Cocoa & Chocolate

Hosted at ZHAW in Wädenswil, this joint meeting will explore shared challenges and innovation opportunities across the cocoa, chocolate and coffee value chains, while also providing space for more focused discussions within each sector.

The programme will combine joint and parallel sessions around three key themes:

• Roasting Technologies & Fermentation – exploring roasting approaches, flavour development and strategies to reduce undesirable compounds.
• Consumer Behaviour & Product Perception – looking at sensory experience, emotional drivers, changing consumer expectations and inspiring brand and retail concepts.
• Circular Economy & By-Product Valorisation – discovering new opportunities for cocoa and coffee side streams, from pulp and shells to novel food, nutrition and material applications.

The day will offer a unique opportunity to connect the cocoa, chocolate and coffee communities, exchange perspectives and discover what the two sectors can learn from each other.
