There are an awful lot of good ideas and innovative products. Nevertheless, there are only a few start-ups that are really successful. This discourages many young agricultural and food scientists from starting their own businesses. Two people present their start-ups and talk about their experiences. How did you come up with the idea? What makes them successful? What challenges were and are there? What made you start a company and what drives you? What does it take to lead innovative projects to success? Is Switzerland a good place to do this?
